The goal of the Three Gorges project is to disrupt the typical high-density design common of contemporary development in our region. Lots range from five to thirty-five acres in size – with 20% of the original 330 acres being placed into conservation easement to protect a grove of legacy hardwoods, sandstone boulder fields, thousands of feet of streams, and at least one very rare flower (Diamorpha smallii).

Instead of golf courses and large playing fields which place high demand / impact on potable water resources and nearby streams and wetlands, Three Gorges Farms will instead focus amenities on a master planned trail system, on-site rock climbing, outdoor playgrounds, and community farms and gardens.

At the Three Gorges, our goal is to create a walkable, family friendly outdoor community for everyone no matter their skill or experience levels.

We are Passionate about the Outdoors.

Members of the Three Gorges Project have volunteered hundreds of hours of time building the public trail infrastructure present in the Deep Creek and Big Soddy CT corridors. This work includes construction of the Deep Creek & Big Soddy bridges, SCC parking lot & trails, and the construction of the hundreds of rock climbs present on the towering walls of Deep Creek and Big Soddy drainages.
